“We’d never give our child a pacifier.”
That was another lifetime ago. Twenty-six days ago, to be exact. We’d had Pape in our arms for less than 48 hours before I sent Cheikh to buy him his first
plug pacifier. Unfortunately, it didn’t work.
So we’ve since tried out a couple other models.
Still no luck. Which means we’re looking to other forms of calming refluxy little Pape.
I can report that we can officially rule out the ‘soothing white noise’ of the call to prayer from the mosques and the hum of the battery inverter when the power is out.
